property zoning
« on: February 08, 2017, 06:59:30 am »
I recall a story about my uncle.
He had property on a golf course.
It was way off and no golf *bleep* ever got shot that far.
nevertheless, it was owned by the country club.
he rented a cottage there and paid them every year for 20, maybe 30 years.
he used it mostly in the summertime.
one day, after all those years, he was told that his cottage would be torn down.
he was told that it had something to do with the zoning laws.
laws do change now and then.
we had one last big party with most of the cousins.
I remember one year when I got the privilege to meet one of my great aunts there.

Sounds like there were a lot of fond memories associated with it, which are priceless. All we can do in such situations is move on and hope the next one is as good.

I'm so confused :confused1: :confused1:    ...  He had property ?
Owned by the Country Club?
That he rented ?
Who was he paying to rent his property?
Who owned the cottage?
