I recently seen a true story series about the band new edition. they went through ups and downs over the years. do you think these writers of these shows add more in to make a story more interesting? I heard an interview once with tina turners ex about that movie about their life and he said they made up a bunch of lies. I can see this happening if the director or writers see a boring storyline

That's possible.  It's also possible that the celebrity doesn't really want their personal stuff made public.  The movie called "Mommy Dearest" was about an abused daughter who chose to reveal some pretty ugly information about her celebrity mother after her mother passed away.
