How do you feel when you get flowers?

I always thought receiving flowers is great but I just learn that cut flowers have a lot of pesticides so the flowers would be perfect for the consumers. No little bugs nibbling on the petals and leaves...well, that kind of change my perspective so I prefer candies or chocolates or wild field flowers now.

I always feel very loved by who sent them. It does take time to actually order them so, I know that I was on someone's mind!

Nothing makes me happier than fresh flowers.  In the spring, summer, and fall I have flowers from the garden.  Winter gets little bleak.

I honestly feel like it is a waste of money. They are too expensive. I always appreciate the gesture and wouldn't make a man feel bad about it. If it was an irresponsible purchase then we might talk later about it, but even then I would dread the conversation.

Flowers are lovely and it's fun to get them. I love giving them as well. It's especially good for someone in the hospital so they have something pretty to look at while they're recuperating, and to know that someone cares. 

I have been working in a nice floral department inside a grocery store and it's great fun to hear what celebrations people are marking with their bouquets and arrangements. It's so sweet when a man comes in to get flowers for his wife and/or girlfriend. They're always so happy! Makes me happy too!

flowers are so pretty, but with my allergies i never know when they will affect me. Besides they die so fast. I really prefer  plants they last a long time with me and i can look at them and remember the person who gave them too me.  My son and daughter-in-law  bought me minature  rose  bushes  that i planted out side. They were so pretty and i hated to leave them when we moved. because  he passed away and i did so want to bring them, but not know for sure where we would be living  and not knowing how long it would be before we found a home to live in instead of the motor home i had to leave them and the people who bought the house are still taking care of them.

LOVE flowers but it depends on who sent them.... (if it's a "creeper", it takes ALL the enjoyment out of them).

I think it is a waste of money when people buy them during the high flower giving times like Valentine's day. I like a surprise bouquet whenever they feel like getting me them. I think it is sweeter and more thoughtful and they don't spend $100
