Age ain't nothin' but a number (?)
« on: December 25, 2016, 03:14:22 pm »
I have a co-worker who always talk about the man she's dating who wants to marry her. She's 41 and he is 60. His kids don't like it because of their age. I personally would feel really uncomfortable with someone that much older than me. Would you date someone that much older/younger than you?

My girlfriend is 8 years order than me but when we talk and we are together age never seems to matter. She does not act her age at all and neither do I for that matter.lol

I personally dont think I would ever! I just cant imagine being attracted to someone in a completely different part of life than I am.

I think that is quite a few years too many for me. But I also feel whatever makes her happy. If she feels ok with it then she is old enough to decide on her own. If it were a teen wanting to date someone 20 years older that would be entirely different. The parent would have to step in.

age does not matter to me it is the person . as long as they are both adults who care.

That would be too much of a age gap for me.

On the other hand: when he was 19, she was being born! such a big advantage, in my opinion :notworthy:

Age is just a number, it is the person not the number...if he treats her right then that is all that matters.

I don't think age should be a factor (if they are two adults, of course).

Google JediJohnnie and May the Force be with you!

Who am I to judge, happiness does not come with a number.  If they are meant to be, then it will work out in the long run.

Love has no age limits. As long as it is legal and they really love each other: Why not?

I think at that stage of their life, age is just a number.
