we sure are it has been a joy having family and friends here with us watching the kids is so cute there faces all lit up while they was opening presents now we are just sitting around chatting and enjoying the company  welll we hope every one had a great day

Sounds like you had some true Christmas spirit! Good for you! We did too. The drive from Colorado to Arizona (to visit my parents) was somewhat nasty with a few snow storms, ran out of gas, and everyone was still decompressing from an intense work/school schedule. After twelve hours we were met with hugs, kisses and good food for four days. It snowed more in Arizona than it did in Colorado and we were pretty much locked into my parent's house due to their fragile physical conditions. This was totally cool as we completed several marathons: Games, laughing and watching Christmas movies. The children appreciated their gifts and the time spent with family which is something that had been missing the last several years.

Other than getting woke up at 5:30 am it was fun

We had a lovely Christmas! Quiet and slowed down. Opened gifts in the afternoon, had a visit from my mom in the evening. Just enjoyed each other's company.  Nothing too big or fancy.
