worry

worry does our health no good.
concern is a more positive word.
there may be two words that are similar to each other, yet because of their certain emphasis, one  has a  stronger meaning.
can you think of any?

How about fret or unsettling - those are two words I think that are less ambiguous.

Think about your own health and how you are going to improve it. Do not worry too much...just work at it.

I remember when I was young, I had a very stressful job which ultimately, I resigned from. The main reason I resigned was because of the impact the stress on my life. I started to get such terrible pain in the back of my neck, just where my spine is and it radiated out towards my shoulders. I would wake up in pain, live in pain, and go to bed in pain. I went to the hospital to get my spine xrayed and they found absolutely nothing wrong. My doctor said the stress was causing me to have bad posture and that was causing my neck to hurt. I quit my job. Within just a couple of days the pain started to go. It never returned and that was 25 years ago. I learnt a valuable lesson. Life is too short to carry the burden of stress around when it is not necessary.

I went through a very stressful marriage, we had 2 kids and were married for 15 years. I  was losing a lot of weight, and then broke out in boils on my back and  a few on my face. I went to a dermatoglist  and he told me i should  get out of my marriage.  He was sleeping around on me all the time, but  he also treated me like i was his slave to to do what he wanted all the time.  Guess what  after 2 years of being single  my face and back  healed up and i  felt so much better.. I would have left sooner but i 2  growing children and they  should have the right to say where they want to live. The oldest elected to stay with his father as her only had  2 years of schooling and he wanted to stay there, the youngest went with me. We only lived 2 hours away, so they saw each other all of the time.

I just read an article a few days ago about how long-term stress kills brain cells & causes problems such as memory loss, etc.  It made me think of a cousin that was older & such a healthy, happy little woman.

Then she got married and her husband kept donating all their money to first one charity and another.  She started stressing over their money problems.  For a few years, every cent they'd get, he'd give it away.  They lost their house.  During those few years she stressed hard and then.....she developed Alzheimer's.

People said it was a "blessing in disguise" because thanks to Alzheimer's, she stopped stressing over their money situation.

I think her exposure to long term stress more than likely caused the Alzheimer's.  She passed away several years ago.  Her old man is a total BUM, lives in a house his sister bought him.  Dude too lazy to work, has a million excuses to do nothing.  He's a real piece of work....

Toxic people are enough to bring on a host of medical issues to people that find themselves having to deal with them.  I've reached a point in my life where I'm totally allergic to them.  (I think my fibromyalgia was caused from childhood long-term stress dealing with toxic family members.)  It's amazing how great life feels once you get away from all that!!!
