Moving quickly with appointments I would have thought means there is mileage to be gained from moving quickly. ie. to catch something before it gets worse. It's when they stop moving quickly that we have to worry, like you've passed the point of no return. I also lost a close friend once on Christmas Eve, and every Christmas Eve after that, I remembered how sad I was the year before. But over time, I realised that there is no "unlucky" time of the year. It is sad whenever we lose someone. The best thoughts I can give are to say that he would benefit from the earliest appointment possible and thorough investigations from experienced professionals. Medical interventions are so advanced these days.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I wish you all the best. I know what you are going through. My husband has had a quadruple bypass in the past and has had issues since.

I know it's hard not to worry when loved ones are facing trials, but keep in mind that all that worry only contributes to the problem, where relaxing and being willing to accept what you can't change anyway can only help your husband feel better if he knows you are going to be alright.

Doesn't really mean you have passed the point of no return.  There are too many people going to the doctor and they are just that far behind.  They tell you that you may have cancer and then you have an appointment with the oncologist 6 months later.  Unless you go to church with your GP and he can get you seen that same day.  I saw this happen.  The only thing that irritated me was anybody else he would have made them wait 6 months.

Prayers and success for your husband having surgery.  Does the Hospital have a shuttle service that can pick you up and then take you back home after the procedure?  That is worth asking about since your husband wants to keep it quiet.
