A few days ago I was tracking a package delivered through UPS and was given an end of day delivery at 2300 hours. I watched and listened all day and all evening to get no delivery. Next day watched and waited, still no delivery. Went to check the mail and noticed a white box in my ditch that had been sitting out in the rain for a couple of days. It was the package that I was waiting for a Hughes Network Modem. It looked as if the river slowed down enough to toss it by the mail box but rolled into the ditch. I'm still very upset with them. This is the first time this has ever happened with UPS. They normally come to my front door, knock and then leave the package at the doorstep. I also have been having issues for years with my mail carrier setting packages on top of my rounded off mailbox rather than coming into the driveway to leave at the door. Being rounded off on the top, the packages tend to slip and fall rolling into the ditch. Ne sense of mail security out here in the country I guess.
