President elect Donald Trump
« on: November 15, 2016, 06:28:29 am »

I keep seeing people post on how they are terrified, or scared? Well.. what are you scared of exactly? War? Because that's happening. School shootings? Because that's happening. Pipeline? That's been happening. Terrorism? Definitely alive and well. Going broke due to health insurance? Mm yes. Corruption throughout the system? Already there. Police officers being murdered? Yep, that's happening. Bullying? Check. Loss of jobs? We've got that on lock. A tanking economy. Yep. Being discriminated against for your religion, political views, sexual orientation, race? That's been going on. Rape, murder, violence, riots.. all going on and has been.

I've seen people go as far as hate speech because "what will this do to the gay community?" Guess what.. you still get to be gay, you still get to be a boy, or a girl, or a boy girl, or if you self identify as a house you can still tell people you're a house. And that's not mockery, because apparently that's a real thing. I don't really care what you are, but what I do know is there are FAR bigger issues than this.
So tell me, what are you scared of that is not already happening basically everywhere? This isn't a Trump problem, this is a people problem. Y'all need to reevaluate your own selves..
Maybe America is a little too scared and a little too easily offended.

Quit being scared, crying around, offended by everything.. step up and do your part as an American, no, as a damn human being. Treat others with respect, help and encourage one another, raise your kids right, be a contributing member of society. Make sure your hands are clean, that's your job. Burning the American flag? Get out of here with that crap, how about you do your job to make it a better place.
But right now, all I see is hate. It's disturbing, and the ones with the most hate are being exactly what they claim to be against.

Well, I am not scared, never have been because The flock is not cut off from the fold, the fig tree will blossom, the field still yields its fruit, herds are still in the stalls; I shall rejoice in the Lord, Let the redeemed say so.

cateyes1:  I love your message. It is so factual. I don't want to get into a gang war here but I do believe the dems are responsible for the fear in the people. Hillary, Obama, and the Congressional Black Caucus as well as Harry Reid had been telling everyone Trump was going to do this and do that, hoping the people would believe them. Well, they didn't. Those who voted for Trump did so because they saw the problems in this country and wanted change. Just like 2008, they wanted change and got it.

Now it's time for this change to take place and time for the young people to stop acting like babies with their safe spaces, sanctuary places, curling up in a fetal position and crying for days on end.

It is time to heal this country and just maybe, the new president-elect may be able to get things under control and other countries will start respecting us once again. As a super power, we certainly haven't been respected for the past 8 years. Other countries see us as pushovers and have been testing us over those years (North Korea, China, Iran, Russia, etc.) That's what's scary.

As a disclaimer, I do not like Trump and if there would have been an alternative, I would have voted for that person, but voting 3rd party was not an option, nor was staying home, and I wanted my state Senator to stay in power because he is one of the few Senators to work WITH the other side and be bipartisan, not just voting party.  Now that Trump will be president, I will give him a chance, just like I gave Obama a chance.

I think people should worry more about what they can do to change their own behavior and how to best affect change in their own neighborhoods, rather than worry about what's going to happen in Washington.

Just another example of how Jesus was way ahead of us.....

Matthew 6:25-34New International Version (NIV)

Do Not Worry
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

I think the kids need to grow up and act like adults, I bet their were a lot of people scared when Obama took over, I know i was worried, But was i out in the streets rioting, looting and being so scared i was traumatized, No You Pray every thing will work out, Trump needs a chance, he won fair and square. But there are a lot of losers out there if they have to  kick and scream  about hillary losing.

You are so right. I just wish all the fussing would stop. We have had presidents before we all did not agree on and probably will happen again some day. All this fuss will not change a thing. They are just wasting their breath. All this drama is so unhealthy !!
