Wached old cartoons
« on: November 14, 2016, 04:04:26 am »
I watched old school G.I. Joe and watching Transformers right now. I just realized it sounds like Cobra commander and Starscream are voiced by the same person!
LOL! That would not surprise me since I watch a lot of anime and cartoons anyway. There is a ton of overlap with voices in the anime world! I mean it's not that hard to notice if you aren't actually watching! Like I can't listen to Lab Rats when the one lady is on, because she IS Naruto!! LOL!!
It gets pretty bad too for me when I realize an actor I have heard before is doing animated stuff now! And I usually can only pick it up on animated stuff! Though yesterday, I did watch an episode of Law and Order and saw Robin Lord Taylor and knew it was him right away! Silly Penguin getting caught on that show too! :P

I love cartoons and animated movies.  Right now we are watching Futurama which isn't old school but I think it is hilarious.  We usually watch a short episode after our main show.

I've been watching Silly Symphonies on youtube. I used to watch those in the morning before school. It's too bad they don't show those anymore. I'm also watching this show called Mummies Alive, also on youtube, that I watched quite a bit.

I miss some of old cartoons, one of them is Scooby Doo, and the older one like Betty Boop.

I still watch cartoons. Cartoons catch my eye still. Yes, it is interesting, when you know that voices are recognized in another. Do you feel it is cheating at someting? lol

Cartoons are the same as they were 50 years or so ago, But now  i do enjoy some of the Disney films even if i am 73. But never watch cartoons anymore, I don't have any little ones too watch them either.

I don't watch cartoons much anymore. If one of my grandchildren sleep over I will watch cartoons with them.

You are correct. Starscream and Cobra Commander were voiced by the late Chris Latta.

It's usually one of those, Wait a minute isn't that so and so too?! LOL! I get that they are some differences, but the shows that have the same voice and don't really try to change them, it's odd. I don't feel it's cheating, I just would like to find more variety in the voices! LOL!

Thank you for providing the info! I had not had time to look it up! I used to love watching both of these shows. Yesterday morning when I was watching them, they were on back to back, so that was how I noticed! I don't think I ever would have had it not been one then the other!!
