Who else is tired of hearing about Michael Jackson on TV/internet?

HE basically has his own channel on TV! ...I'm tired of hearing about it...  Ya he had some great songs back in the day, but COME ON!

Totally. Ive never seen this much coverage on someone dying before. I like the guys music and everything but still. Although I am curious to see what happens with the whole homicide thing.

I think the reason that the media is covering his death/murder so closely is because they want to detract our attention from anything that might be important... Politicians meeting at 3am to pass bills... Uprisings around the country because the people don't want socialism... You get the picture.

Most of the news stations are still wrapped up in Michael Jackson... They do minor stories about other things, but nothing really important... The only news channel I watch now if Fox, because it seems like they're the only ones that haven't been paid off...

I know what you mean. I could really care less about Micheal Jackson. I feel bad for his children mostly. A couple of months before he died you could ask a person on the street what they thought about Micheal and they'd 9/10 call him a pedophile.

Now he's somehow glorified.

Yeah I'm getting pretty tired of it. His funeral was on my birthday. That was great to wake up and see it on 6 different channels.

I am in the same boat! I still dont understand why the family took 2 months to bury him & then made it "private" but let some images be seen. Let's just enjoy the legacy of music he left behind & let him rest in peace!

Its slightly less depressing than hearing constant updates on the economic meltdown. The 24 hr news cycle is easily distracted. If everything is breaking news is anything really breaking news?
