Shocked by my eBay Order

I used to buy and sell on ebay a long time ago. I was even a Power Seller at one point. It wasn't worth the hassle after a while.

I've been buying off ebay for years and have rarely had a negative experience (I order off ebay  a few times a week).   PayPal is EXCELLENT though at resolving issues and getting one's money back if needed.

I used ebay many years ago but not recently.  I ordered one piece of junk from China and that was it for me because it cost more to return it than to buy it in the first place.

I only buy on amazon. I don't trust ebay sometime

Not only that but for the most part I only buy what is sold and shipped from Amazon.  The few times I bought from a seller it all turned out good though.

I thought about selling on ebay but with all the fees and people complain and every thing else I figured it would be too much of a head ache.  Although some people make good money.  I know a woman I use to go to church with that would troll the game shops in town and buy ALL of the hit games for that year and then sold them on ebay for 8-10 times the price she paid.  Idk, but to me that just seemed wrong.  There are people who wanted to get it for their kids and could maybe afford $60 but could not afford several hundred dollars.

That is the only problem with purchasing online.  It costs money to return stuff : (

Gotta be careful with buying things from ebay. You think you are landing urself a deal but in reality it is most likely a fake. When I'm buying stuff from ebay I make sure that they are an experience seller (with decent positive reviews) and barely to none negative reviews. Never bought Jewelry, but in the coin collecting I check the ngc id number to verify that it is somewhat real. If it is not what is described in the description then I ask for a return (or contact ebay money back)

That's Ebay for you they always find a way to make it happen in the worst possible way.

eBay is awful for that. Too many people are being shady in their listings.
