I know we can't post any links (because it will deter people away from FC), but can we post referral info for mobile apps?

Yeah, the forum rules just say "no referral links whatsoever", but that doesn't seem like we couldn't share usernames and referral codes for apps, does it? Any thoughts?

The rule about not posting links is to prevent the forum from being used to aid yourself personally by gathering referrals. They don't want the forum to be used to get referrals to other sites. I'd assume under this spirit of the rule, posting referral codes / usernames is also not allowed.

BTW, you can post links in the forum, like this cute cat video, as long as the poster is not somehow compensated for posting it. So no referral links or even a link to a web-site that you own, but a link to a YouTube video (where you are not the poster on YouTube that may get ad money) or to a news story is perfectly valid.
