When was the last time you took a cruise. I still have not been on a cruise, I hope to go one day, I have heard good things about it.

Ha Ha, the last time I took a cruise was in 1966 and I sailed to Vietnam.

I have been deep sea fishing on 1 day outings several times though.

My family took an Alaskan cruise 4 years ago.  It was great.

Last year.  I love cruises.  One day I would love to go on a around world cruise.  I looked up the price and when I found out how much it costs it became just a dream, never will happen. 😥😟

Just over a year ago.  Several things are preventing me on going on one this year.

I might do this cruise called 70000 tons of metal one day. It has metal bands from all over the world play for over 4 days. It is a lot of money but a lot of people I know who went liked it.

Went once. Not a huge fan. You don't even know you're on the ocean when you're inside the ship. Boarding and deboarding is like being in a huge herd of cattle. Big meals and expensive everything. You end up spending way more on incidentals than you plan because they give you one of those cards to buy stuff. They take your picture and charge you $20 each time at least five or six times the whole cruise. That adds up to a lot and you don't even think about it until the end when you have to pay up.  :dontknow:

I would advise against it if you're not a fan of big crowds. :bunny: And if you do go, go with someone you love or really like. If you go with a group, you may get lost in the crowd. And plan on spending way more than you thought you would. I spent so much money that could have been better spent.

Sorry to be a bummer, but I think people should be aware of all contingencies. I know some people love it.  :rainbow: Maybe it also depends on your destination. I've heard great things about Alaskan cruises.  8) Mine was to the Eastern Caribbean. Could have been more fun with more like-minded people I think.

If it's been a dream of yours for a long time, you should probably go. I just wanted to let you know some of the pitfalls. BTW, it's really windy up top. For real.  :o
