Thanks Giving is around the corner, did anyone start working on their list yet? I have started to think about mine. I do not want turkey. I will eat it, but I am not crazy about it. Collard greens are a must for me every Thanks Giving, What about you guys?

Since there are only two of us, I think I will cook a turkey breast with all the other traditional fixins'.  However, since my significant other comes from a large family which likes to cook, there is a very good probability we will have two Thanksgivings.  Since that is the case, I think I will cook at home a week or so before and then on Thanksgiving Day we will go to one of his family members.

Hoping that one of my other relatives will step up this year and have the family over.  Having been doing it for 32 years and never get to really enjoy the meal because I am on the go

We generally play it by ear based on what we want. It's never really rigid and set in stone

I have been so busy lately with school and work that, unfortunately, I have had little time to prepare for Thanksgiving (which, thankfully, is fast approaching!). Normally, however, my Thanksgiving meals are extremely subdued. Instead of turkey, I usually just prepare a few Cornish hens. So I think I can afford to wait a few days just before the event to cook up a small, but lavish meal for my family.

I haven't even thought of Thanksgiving yet! I usually do not cook Thanksgiving but if I were to I would cook turkey with stuffing mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and onion casserole. Oh and can not forget cranberry sauce.

I love deviled eggs and bread. I know those are a side. I also love chocolate pie. I like ham or turkey.
