My Points is going downhill

I am disappointed with My Points now that they've merged with Swagbucks. I just got an email saying that they will now only be paying random points for web searches, instead of a fixed amount. I hate random search rewards, because I rarely ever win anything (although once I did win 99 points from Swagbucks). I like to get paid for every search I do, even if it's only a fraction of a cent. I guess I'll just stick with Bing, even though their changes have made it harder to reach cashout as well.

I haven't heard that the two merged.  I will agree that with Swagbucks it has been really hard to qualify for any surveys they've made available lately.  I used to be able to cash out at least bi-monthly, now it takes longer.  I only use MyPoints for the surveys.

I've been a member of both Swagbucks and My Points for several years, but have not really been able to get into a strong routine with either one.  My Points never seemed to credit for me for a while, so I lost interest and only got occasional points.  I was doing okay with Swagbucks (nothing remotely close to Fusion Cash), but ever since their most recent site revamp, it threw a big wrench into my checklist/routine and my daily participation has fallen way off...


But where is this merger rumor coming from? I've seen/heard nothing of the sort.

news to me i do the ncrave on swagbucks more then ever now the videos are terrible but ncrave is good .

They haven't merged. They're just owned by the same parent company now and they've said they would remain separate sites

I've never used MyPoints( or at least don't remember) but I'm able to cashout with Swagbucks multiple times a month even with just random search wins. It's mostly surveys and videos that I use on there

I was very disappointed also today when I saw the change.

Perhaps we should all email them, and see if they care that we are not happy with the changes.

This is why it's important to be on the lookout for reputable paying sites, you just never know when a certain site is going to change or close! Recently zoombucks was taken over by grabpoints, superpoints returned as rewardshopping but isn't very good, more than a year ago sidetick stop paying completely, mylot went from good to lousy and now is gone, even paidviewpoint which was sending surveys to my inbox regularly for years has hit a huge dry spell. I wish there were more sites like FC!

Omg I hate Bing now they changed it so you can't get anything good from cash outs like what am I going to do with a 10 dollar off coupon to the Xbox store or whatever just give me the Amazon gift card

I think its like inbox dollar and  send earnings. same thing. different websites.
