Do married couples still have a date night

No date nights for us with a 2 and a 3 year old in the house... too busy at the moment.... but I really hope things will change soon

yes !!!!   by all means.    thankfully we had fantastic grandparents who never said "no" to watching the kids so we could go out and have dinner or watch a movie or what ever we wanted to do.     Usually we never had to even ask,,,  as they would call and ask to keep them for the weekend  LOL  God Bless them !!!!!

Well they SHOULD... I think it's very  important to keep your spark in the relationship.

I think some couples still have date night.  Although others don't make it a priority.  My husband and I have been married just over a year...although we've been together since 2011.  In all our history together we've gone to the movies once.  Out to dinner (not take out) only a handful of times.  We can't afford date night (Or at least we choose not to afford date night) There are so many things we're both trying to accomplish.  We just don't make time for it.  Now that's sad!

I've been divorced for over 10 years but I could only hope that if I get married again that we make it a point to have date night and reconnect a few times a month. I think it is important to the relationship that you don't fall in a rut and keep things interesting!

Does date night have to be an expensive thing? There are plenty of free and cheap things that you can go out and do together without compromising your financial goals

We do it as often as we can but there are times when it's hard to schedule it in. Definitely at least once a month.

Some do I guess, we don't because we have 6 kids. But we have family night and that is good enough for us.

I am not currently married, but if I get remarried, date nights are a must. I think it helps keep the relationship fresh and keep from not feeling like room mates or something. I also enjoy getting dressed up to go out and would love to look forward to going out with my husband at least once a month on a date.

We have been married 40 years and still do "date" nights.  We don't get to do them as often as we would like due to our present work schedules, but we enjoy taking a night or day out together.

Going for a walk in the evening together or cuddling next to each on the couch sharing a bowl of popcorn together are also great times together!

We go out whenever we feel like it but I have a feeling that will change when baby gets here...

My husband and I go out places but rarely. We do take a week out of every year and go on a nice vacation though.
