Anyone else have Magic Jack?

I would love nothing more than to get MagicJack since my phone bill is $70 a month.  Unfortunately for me, I live in the middle of nowhere and we have satellite internet, which apparently isn't compatible.  I really hope they fix that, then I could afford to upgrade my internet plan! 

Did you get that from them? As long as you are connected it should work, it even works over dial-up I understand.

Are you certain that it does not work with the satellite internet? I checked mine out after reading your post and it is supposed to work with ANY internet connection. Try visiting their website to find that info....you phone company wants your $70 a month, so they will tell you it won't work just to keep that cash flowing in.

No dont have the magic jack the reason I didnt get it is because back when I first considered getting one you couldn't keep your same phone number and also I wasn't sure if I could have more then one phone and right now I only have one computer so thats why I decided to pass on magic jack for now but it looked like a good deal price whys.

No I dont have a Magic Jack and the reason is because, it just seems too good of a deal too good to be true. Usually if a deal seems too good to be true, it usually is. I worry about hidden fees, limited calls, poor reception, and the possibility of someone being able to somehow use the magic jack. If it is plugged into the computer, is it also possible to hack it?

I purchased the Majic Jack, but found out that service was not available in my area!
Returned for refund.

I always wanted to try the magic jack. i read so many good things about it all the time and I hope to try it really soon. My bill comes to about $65 a month so it would save me alot of money!!

Nope, not me, at least not yet - not even looked into it. I don't use my phone much.
