Farmer's Markets

Hi,
I love farmers markets.  I enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables.  Do you shop at Farmer's Markets?  If so, what do you buy there?

Yes, I love our local farmer's market.  No where better to get fresh fruits and veggies that are in season and locally sourced.  Best prices also.

I too enjoy going to Farmers' Markets but I can't seem to find any that are worthwhile here where I live.   So for that reason I don't go as often as I'd like to cause I have to travel too far.

I like it too, but don't purchase any thing because it's expensive even though it good quality and organic.

Just went to one today and purchased tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, some pickled asparagus, and 5 gallon bucket of beets to pickle, and 1 loaf of rye bread.  Lots of fun.

Yes I do, when they are in season in our community. I love that the vegetables, meats and other products are locally source.

I don't go to the farmers market. Everybody claims they can get food for really cheap, but all I'm seeing are super expensive things.

today our farmers market did a day to honor the men and women in blue --for always keeping us safe here in our town ! i think this is awesome --i didnt get to go but i think this is a great idea

I like Farmer's Markets, but seem to never get a chance to visit one.  I always think about it the day after.  A mind block?  Possibly.

I wish I could go more often. I like some of the unique things I find. There is one right around the corner from where I live. It takes place every Saturday. Aside from fruits and vegetables, I've bought things like pastry, jam, and salsa. I like the herbs that they have because they're less expensive than the price at the grocery store.

I love farmer's market too. I mainly go buy organic stuff. That's the best stuff to buy at farmer's market.

I'm trying to go to our local Farmers' Markets increasingly.  I like to buy locally grown and the taste on some fruits and vegetables can't be matched in the grocery store.  For example, I have had some peaches and cantalope that were the "bomb" this year.  I hate to see all these fresh fruits and vegetables go!

I only go sometimes but not that much just because I have a walmart/Food4less near me ><

I bought a case of sweet potatoes and a case of butternut squash last week that will do us all winter.
