I don't usually eat salty snacks unless they are salted with sea salt and then again, not very often.

well, if you work hard and sweat and always at the salt diet intake, than salty snack is a good snack for you, age don't matter. I do believe I am self contained of salt in my duration of life, now less salt is good for me. Young people can have high blood pressures.

I don't recommend salty snacks. They can pump you sodium intake up. Go for fruits as snacks

I like certain snacks, but not all.  I eat pretzels because they are crispy and not a lot of calories.

Salty foods: I do not even bother! It is a health risk.

My family likes it and so do I, but we don't eat it a lot just when we have it on hand or when we buy a family pack or something.

Occasionally I'll have some salty snacks but tend to avoid them due to the sodium that makes me bloat. Have high blood pressure and High Cholesterol. I used to eat salt sandwiches (just salt poured between 2 slices of bread). I know, gross... My husband was appalled when he first witnessed me doing it. As a kid I'd suck on rock salt. I just loved the taste of salt. Now at 41 I am not so fond of the taste, unless it's on McDonald's fries. I am more of a sweet tooth and need to break the habit but fear the chips ahoy economy will suffer a great deal of loss. :P My husband though loves salty snacks and eats them throughout the day and night.

We usually only do salty snacks after we have worked outside all day.
