What will your legacy be?
« on: August 07, 2016, 11:14:17 am »
It's no secret that we all make our "exit" from this life time, eventually.  What will you leave behind?

Is there something you've done or are doing that has an impact on society?

I have a couple of children.  Chances are, they will still be here after I "check out".  Maybe they'll make a positive difference with the choices they're making.

Personally, I feel that the things I write about might be part of my legacy.  Maybe someone will learn something from what I've written.  I'd like to feel that someone will benefit from the fact that I was here.

Have a great day!

I hope to be the first doctor on both sides of the family, I hope to have helped and impacted many people's lives, and I hope to set the bar higher for what kind of life you can earn.

Oh and to answer the questions, I hope to leave behind businesses and investments for my children and maybe even a non profit organization to help others.

I recently held a charity school drive and I hand out care bags to the homeless.

Definitely my children. I have just about finished equipping them with everything that they need to know to succeed and survive. My daughter is at the point where she rarely needs anything from us at age nineteen. My son is making choices that have long term implications and is steering away from wasteful and harmful choices-most of the time. I will be leaving them a fair amount of money when I graduate from Earth so they should be somewhat comfortable. It will be dispersed through a trust so that they will not be overwhelmed by a sudden influx of unearned cash and be tempted by sloth. I pretty much plan on working up until the day that I die but do want to find work that is more mobile (like my night time job).
