The New Harry Pottery Book- The Cursed Child
« on: August 06, 2016, 10:31:35 am »
I was eating lunch when one of my co-workers showing a book he had just got for his passed birthday. Also I saw it in Barnes N Nobles a few weeks before hand. I know it's written in play form. I was just wondering if I should read it. I heard people didn't want to read it only because it's written in play form. I think that's pretty good and that the fact it is going to be a real play. At least that's what I heard. I wonder if I should read it, but I didn't read the whole Harry Potter series all the way through. I know it's a huge series of novels. For all the book lovers other there and Harry Potter fans. What to do you think should I read it? Is it worthy to be in my collection?   ???

I haven't seen that yet. I will have to check it out. I watch Harry Potter with my grandkids. I also have some books of it. You would actually have to make the choice.

I've been thinking about it without wasting too much money.
To be fair the spoilers i've read about it have piqued my curiosity.

It was not written exclusively by JK Rowling, but rather was written by Jack Thorne as a play; Rowling did, however, help in developing this new storyline for the script. Since it wasn't written by Rowling, I'm not sure how well it will be written, but with Rowling's help, I think that the story itself will be interesting. I just never like reading a play over a novel. A play (or movie, for that matter) won't have as much description written into it as that description will be shown rather than need to be expressed in written form. For me, I'm just going to wait until the play (or movie eventually) gets released.

I'll get the book just because I'm interested in the story. It doesn't matter if it's script format. All of Shakespeare's plays were done this way.
