back to school

it seems like the kids go back to school earlier and earlier each year  mine go back on monday and boy i know it is gonna to be a pain tring to get my girl up and ready and out to catch the bus she is a pain to get up in the am so i started making her go to bed by 930 pm and she is not a happy camper but i told her she needs her sleep so she can go to school and learn alot

Most schools starts in August now.

I am glad they go back to school earlier because I think 3 months off is too long and they forget a lot of things that they learned. Going back to school also saves me money that I would have to pay for summer camp and activities. Min start on August 10.

Public school seems like they go back early each year.  I don't have to worry about public school, I homeschool my daughter.

School should start in September. August is way too hot. Whoever says that school must start in August probably just thinks that a school year is too long to wait to start. School used to start on the Monday before the last Wednesday in August for me as I was growing up and later went to school at a technical college. School years in college and a university have been shorter than those for schools for lower grades in Madison, WI.

I live in Florida. It's typically hot from March to October but the weather is usually more enjoyable in June than August. It makes more sense in the south to get out in May and go back early August .

Schools here still start after Labor Day in September.  They tried to change it to August but everyone voted it down.  I don't have any kids in school, all grown  yahoo.

They start back the 26th of August here so they've got a few weeks left to go.

Our guys will be going back August 16, which is really early since it use to be right after Labor Day.

The kids here started back on Friday, the parents were doing the happy dance as they got on the bus.
