I love watermelon too. It's fun to stick your face into a huge slice and slurp up a big bite. But it's also good cubed in a fresh fruit salad with cantaloupe and blueberries. Yummy!

I like mines semi frozen/icy so I put it in the freezer for a few hours.

The freezing watermelon sounds really good.

I used to throw watermelon in the blender with cracked ice and freeze it for the grand-kids on hot days.

I miss the old watermelons too...back in the day when the "ice-man" would bring a block of ice for your ice box, and us kids would run after the truck. The ice man would chip a chunk off for each of us.

Ah, life was so much simpler, and we did not realize how good we had it.

love watermelon with some salt of course...usually cube mine...put it in a bowl in fridge to keep chilled and ready to grab
