I still have to park in the same aisle/general area or I still lose my car and have to walk through the parking lot clicking the alarm until I find it!  What is really embarrassing is getting in the wrong car!  I have done that a couple of times.
Have a wonderful day!

I think I have had this happen maybe once or twice. Now I finally have a new car with my button on my keys.

That's so true! I still take a picture of where I parked at the airport or in multi-tiered parking lots.

I love this idea.  It seems so sensible.  I actually have done it once.  My husband and I were parking for a big festival with hundreds of cars around us.  I looked up, saw a letter on one of the poles and decided to take a picture.  I'm going to start doing this more often.  It's really scary when you walk outside a store and think "Oops, I forgot to pay attention to where I parked!

I think u lose some of skills when we rely on tech stuff. Before I got my new/used smart car, I'd  always mark where I park my car. Habit wise, I still mark where I park my car & can find it before I have to us the key to locate lt.

I'm waiting until technology will truly allow us to not lose our cars again.... I'm guessing that once self-driving cars are on the road, it will be a short time before cars will "self-valet" themselves: you get out of the car at the store's front door, push a button for "self-valet" so the car roams around the lot looking for a parking space, and when you're done shopping push a button on your key fob and the car returns back to the front door where it left you off.

Some people still do lose their car in a large mall parking lot.
