I in fact live in an area that's close to the stores and because of it's convenience I have in more than one occasion walked there and back.

I think it's all conditional on how much I'm getting, if it's for a quick few items, then I'd definitely walk to the store. However, if I'm going for a bunch of stuff, I don't want to have to carry all that stuff home (which is about a mile away), so I'd end up driving.

I love walking to stores on nice days. Don't have to worry about traffic and if I get lazy I can always take a bus home.

Our grocery store is a 2 min drive ( depending on the traffic and lights). I used to walk to the store on occasion but with 2 bad knees and a very bad ankle driving is a must.
My goal is to be able to walk to the store once again.

If it's a nice day, I don't need much and I'm not pressed for time, I would.  Great way to get some exercise in.

If I lived close to the store and it was safe then sure.  Unless I was picking up stuff that would be heavy.

I do it now when I only have to get a few things.  A store is one mile from my house so that's a two mile walk plus walking around in the store.  It's one of the ways I exercise and also cutting my grass which takes an hour.

Yes.   I walk to the store frequently.  It's about a mile away.

Yes, absolutely, if there is an area for pedestrians.

If you have to fight traffic and cross busy intersections, then no.  >:(

I used to live where I could walk to the store, but now I don't.

If I have somewhere to go I always try to walk to the store. If it is too long of a distance I will try to take my bike if that is too far I will have to take my car. It definitely depends. The city I live in now makes it harder to walk then in other cities have I have lived in the past.

Yes I might I don't know because I live in the country and don't live within walking distance and moreover I am disabled and have to walk with a walker or cane so I guess lol it doesn't apply to me in more than one way.

It depends on what kind of store and what I'm going to buy. I live near a square that has lots of stores. Sometimes I walk if I'm only getting a bag or two worth of items. Other times I walk for the exercise. It relaxes me while I'm looking at nature.

Yes, I used to live in walking distance and would walk regularly to the store. We would then only drive to get large/heavier items. It was nice.
