Tingling in your hands
« on: July 17, 2016, 05:14:23 am »
I have a lot of tingling in my hands. I cannot  hold anything in my hands for
long periods of time either, for example, cell phone, cup or anything without tingling.
My carpel tunnel is very bad at times.

Do you experience tingling in your hands?

I have that at times.  You can have surgery to correct it, I didn't go that route.  I went out and bought a hand brace, you can get them at any drugstore.  I wore it all day for a few weeks and it really seemed to help.  Now I only wear it occasionally at bed.  Good luck, I know it's painful.

Used to have wrist pains from playing a lot of sc2 back when it was popular... Got a gel wrist pad to relive some pain... As of right now I don't have any pains

I am older, and my hands go numb when I rest my elbows directly on the arms of my chair.

Very annoying, and I try to exercise my arms every day.

Maybe some of you have corpal tunnel? Years ago, I had a chiropractor give me tips on exercises that corrected that problem in a couple weeks.

Periodically it happens, and I do those exercises to quickly fix it.

My elbow issues is something separate.

If I drink vodka I might have a little bit of tingling in one hand; however, I rarely drink liquor.

If you're not drinking you could probably take a super B-complex to help your nervous system.  Just something I wanted to drop into the suggestion box.

Have a great day!

I had carpal tunnel many, many years ago. I had to wear a wrist brace all day, and then I started having to wear it at night as well.

I'm pretty sure it was from constant typing; you know, the repetitive injury thing that causes carpal tunnel.

I started doing exercises for my wrist, specifically lifting weights, and it went away entirely.   8)

Yeah, that's what it sounds like. Have you considered having surgery?

Some days it is worse then others, mine is partly because my back is so messed up because of car wrecks the spine gets out of allinement and causes a lot of problems.  so  when it does i  have to go get it put straight again, does not last but  i get  a little rest .

Generally tingling in your hands is more so tingling in your fingers.  And it's either your thumb and index finger or the other three.  A different nerve controls those two sets of fingers.

lol.  You can have surgery IF you have insurance and IF the insurance company will approve it.

Melody are you diabetic? If so might talk to your doctor about that, or if your not get checked. Tingling in the feet and toes is also a sign
