a husband who cooks
« on: July 15, 2016, 08:19:12 am »
with both parents working, it becomes necessary to design a plan for daily meal preparation.
I know a lady whose husband likes to cook.
Many chefs are men.
There are companies popping up all over that people can order meals already prepared.
They are a cut above the tv dinner items we grew up on. Some of those are still out there.
A number of people seriously don't want to eat junk food anymore.

One of the things I miss about being married is having someone else cook dinner sometimes. My ex husband actually use to like cooking when we were married. I get tired of having to cook for four kids everyday and I m on a budget so we only go out to eat once in a while.

My husband loves to cook so I'm fortunate.  On the weekends he cooks for both of us.  I bake cookies.

Hubby does the grilling and i do the inside. One reason is he likes to cook on high and make a mess.  So he cooks outside and i don't care what kind of mess he makes he cleans it up outside. so it is my turn so think i will bake catfish for dinner. Even if it is not my favorite food. i will cook it for him and then eat a veggie and something.

Living by yourself there is no to cook for and also no one to cook for you.
both are not good.itis hard to cook for yourself. I find I have to cook several meals at once. if I don't have things prepared or lots of fresh fruit and veggies I won't eat anything or I will eat junk :rainbow: :rose: :peace:

Guess I have been pretty lucky because my husband does most of the cooking.  He gets home at 3PM and starts dinner because I usually don't get in until after 6PM.  By then everyone is starving and doesn't want to for me to start dinner.  I do make a couple a of meals on Sunday that are easy to reheat during the week.

My husband hates to cook. He doesn't like being in the kitchen for anything.  I on the other hand love to be in the kitchen creating.  He see's cooking as another mess to clean up.  I work retail so my schedule is very odd.  My son also works with me.  So much of the time frozen meals and easy prepared meals are purchased for the household.  I only cook (I mean really cook) 2 days a week now.

Whilst I do most of the cooking, my husband does like to take an occasional turn in the kitchen and I appreciate it when he does. He is good at cooking TBone Steaks, which I am not, and he particularly enjoys cooking meat on the BBQ. I enjoy cooking with the slow cooker, I also have a dutch oven which is great for stews, pot roasts and soups. I really enjoy cooking but I hate the clean up! My sister has a great job and her husband stays home to look after the children. He is a fantastic cook!

My husband and I both cook. He enjoys cooking actually and usually makes dinner 2-3 nights a week.

My husband does a lot of the cooking now.  I work 12 hour days and often am not even home to eat supper at home.
