cast came off today

they took my cast of and boy i will say i am glad because with the heat it was so itchy but it seems my arm is ok thank god more prayers answered

Congrats Hope you are done with casts.
There is nothing worse then wearing a cast in the heat.
I had surgery when I was young and then worn casts on my legs at night for several years.

I was stuck in a cast for seven months and absolutely hated it. After the cast came off they found that I had developed a deep veinous thrombosis (clot) and proceeded to feed me blood thinners for two years. Warfarin, nefarin and Coumadin...oh my. That was over six years ago and my Doctor discovered a residual clot in the same leg (three weeks ago). Two scans have cost me a few hundred dollars because of the socialized medical movement.  Kind of torks me out. I pay a fortune for insurance premiums for some of the top insurance out there and still have to pay a large sum for the scans. The Doctor prescribed Xarelto but I have found out that this is one of the drugs that insurance companie only pay a portion of-I would need to pay sixty dollars for a months supply. I am going to see if I really need it (aspirin is said to be just as good). If needed I can get a six month supply for one hundred dollars from a reputable on line counterfeiter.

Great to hear.  I am glad for you.  I have not ever had a cast but I can just imagine how hard that is.
