On Thursday I go back to the hospital for a bone scan and a pet scan.  These will show if the cancer spread anyplace.  If it did, I will be at stage 4.  I'm excited for the results, but I'm also very very scared.

Oh, Nancy, although i don't know you I've read about your battle with this vicious disease here on the forum.  I couldn't wish you more good luck or God's hands on you than I do at this time.  I can't imagine what you are feeling and what this has been like.  I do so hope that man finds the answer to cancers of all types.

Thank you so very very much for your prayers.  I go Thursday morning at 8 am for the 2 tests.  On one hand I want to know if it spread (I have stage 3 now), but on the other hand I am scared to death.  As my oncologist said stages 1, 2, and 3 can be cured, but not stage 4.

hope things turn out the way you want this is one time where i wish we could know someones address for sending a card etc. My mother died of cancer about 20yrs ago and my cousin died at age 36 of breast the older i get the worse it seems she was so young my mom is resting in peace.
