storm on the fourth
« on: July 05, 2016, 06:56:54 am »
two hours before the fireworks, we had a storm.
there was a lot of bright lightening with this one, which meant it was very close.
I was glad I couldn't go to any fireworks show.
Fourth of July is a dangerous holiday with big  injuries and casualties every year.

I worked right through our towns fireworks show.  When my husband picked me up we caught glimpses of it in between tree's on the car ride home.  The fourth of July had been my husbands passion for the last 5 years.  This year he didn't even buy a sparkler.

It is so dry out here, that all I could think about was fire this year!

So sorry you had storms, but God know you all needed the rain. :)
