Word *bleeped* out

I posted a comment yesterday and typed a word that sounds like sillies but begins with a "W" and it was bleeped out!? Correct me if I'm wrong but since when is that a nasty word? LOL. Whats next, you can't type "darn" without being censored? This just struck me as being so odd, I thought I'd share it with the community.

You're just finding out FC's "profanity" censor?! There are a few others that are like that.... I can't say "I'm hoping to catch some *bleep* at the baseball game today" because spheres used for play are profane. However "I'm hoping to catch some vaginas at the baseball game today" though making no sense, is still perfectly legit to say... And don't try to talk about the atrocities that the Jews faced by the *bleep* Party, but it's ok to talk about the millions killed by Stalin's Communist Party. Go figure.... :8

@Ivstephanie, LOL! Yeah, first introduction to the FC censors for me and as you keenly noted, they obviously have no rhyme or reason! Perhaps they have members on a rotation and my turn came up? who knows? Thank you for making me laugh, I love your sense of humor!

Your word, miltonarmitage, that sounds like sillies seems to be a very odd word to get censored.

It is funny because quite often some one asks what is your favorite TV show and I put " *bleep* Stars." The *bleep* is always bleeped out. It probably is now again as I write this post.

Hahaha!  I guess they feel that your word can be construed as one that CAN be used to describe a "certain" body part!

@mardukblood2009, looks like you were right! Maybe there is a list of words we're not supposed to use? Kinda like the Knights Who Say Ni?

@BlackSheepNY, Perhaps but all they need to do is consult the dictionary and they'd find that its a common word which has a specific meaning with nothing to do with any area of the human body. In other cultures I guess its possible but why would that count here? really strange.

Some of them are stupid.  I had c-r-a-c-k-e-r bleeped out.  Since when is them square hard bread like things a bad word. lol

I responded to a post a few months back and I had to make an adjustment.  In the post I mentioned a talk show host from some years ago.  When I named the host in my reply, it didn't pass the censor test. 

So then I just referred to the host as 'a talk show host'.

@countrygirl12, LOL! I guess for some reason they thought of the OTHER meaning but really sometimes I wonder if they read the posts they're censoring!

@betlynjua, I know what you mean, I'm wondering what word will set them off again. I guess I'll just write my posts as usual and take it from there.
