do you believe that there use to be giants on the earth?

i just saw some pictures that supposedly has been dug up. i know the bible said there were giants. so i guess that they probably have dug some up. but still i wonder where would they have come from?

Yes, but I believe anyone extremely tall was probably considered a giant.

Well yes don't forget Andre the Giant. And I believe some of those NBA Players are giants. Perhaps in the guinea's book of world record there should be someone that will fit the description. And yes, the bible talks of Goliath as being a giant of a man.

Yes there was.Right before the flood the dis-obedient angels were able to materialize and put on human bodies and have sex with the good looking woman.The offspring was called Nephilem and they contributed to the world being wicked then and God wiped evryone out except Noah and his family.The account can be read in Genesis 6:4

Of course the angels de-materialized and went back to spirit realm but they are out of spiritual grace and soon be punished by God for doing that.It is viewed as God forbids homosexuality.

I know there were.  Goliath was a giant.  There are giants today.  There have been news stories about men being 8 to 9 feet tall.

The have dug up so really large skelteons in Greece showing how big some people were. Compared to us most of them were really huge. , weather they were really giants or just really large  people i don't know. But am sure there were some large people on earth at sometime or another.

Yes, giants did exist during "ancient times".  I mean David who is in the bible defeated the Isralites's enemy who was "Goliath the giant warrior of the Philistines."

David went out in the name of the Lord and said to him basically, "I come to you in the name of the Lord and today you will be defeated.....and then, of course, he took three shiny pebbles and he slujng it towards the giant and he hit him right between the forehead and the giant fell down with a great, big thud!


And, David became king and Saul the king at the time tried several  times out of jealousy to kill David, but David would not retaliate and he cut off a piece of Saul's clothing one day while he was hiding in the cave with his men and he pointed out to Saul that he would not harm him since he was annointed from God and God does not approve of murder!

If giant means people with gigantism, then yes. If giant means people as tall as those in mythology (ie. cyclops), then no.

   Forget the Bible. You want facts and evidence. Yes, they existed...and strange bones are dug up in the world every day for scientific studies. They are/were weird looking creatures for sure.
