That is a fact...my child is now 16 years old and I worry myself sick sometimes just thinking about her leaving me. 2 years isn't a significant amount of time and 16 years went by lightning fast so I know the next 2 years is going to be nothing really. I'm glad she's already focusing on college and already knows where she wants to go to school and what profession she is aiming for but at the same time I dread her leaving me. I mean she's my only kid, I had another daughter that died at birth and I'm not able to have anymore so I'm so attached to this child that it is crazy. as she was growing up I had to be my her friend and parent because if the fact that she is an only child and my whole world is centered on her so I'm gonna be lost when she moves out.

It does seem like the older you get the faster the time goes.  Seems like  just a couple of years ago that all of my great nieces and nephews were just young children now they are getting married having children and or in college. Boy  oh howdy  now have a great grand daughter and  great great nephew the same age.

Time is moving on always cherish those memories and continue to make more.  I often look back over pictures of my boys coming up and wonder where did the time go.  They did some cute things and kept us laughing.

My sincere congratulations on your daughter's graduation and starting college. She's about to enter into an exciting new chapter of her life. Time really does go by so quickly. It seems like it was just the other day I was in high school myself and graduating, but now I'm a senior in college doing the same this summer.

I agree, time goes by way too fast, and I think as you get older it seems to even go faster.  Congratulations on your daughter graduating from high school and best of luck to her as she enters college and a new chapter in her life.

Yes time does go by fast; my oldest daughter got her driver's license yesterday.  I can literally remember the moment I realized I was pregnant with her.  I was in French class and realized I was late.  I made a makeshift calendar and saw that I was like 8 days late and instantly knew.

We have to make our dreams reality today, tomorrow isn't promised and comes and goes too fast when we do see it.

Well I sure know what you are talking about seems like yesterday my sons were born and one is up in his thirties and the other is in his late twenties.  But they are great sons and I still have a good relationship with them.  It is exciting that your daughter is starting her life beyond high school and I am sure she will have great plans and do great things.  I hope and pray much happiness is in her future.
