I use both. My phone is great when I'm out and about and so many appointments can sync with it but we have a large paper calendar in the kitchen. Sometimes there is so much going on that you need 2.  Plus, I love my paper calendar because it has a beautiful picture and fun quotes that always brighten my day.

I have 2 paper calendars hooked together to keep everything up to the minute.  I only put in the computer calendar about once a day, the paper ones have everything on them.

I have bot paper and on my cell phone.  Very handy to have calendar where ever you go.  And I write notes through my paper calendar.
