This weekend I went to Lowe's twice on Saturday and both times I was told Happy Mother's Day by the cashier.
Personally, I do not think random people should say Happy Mother's Day to other women they do not know.  I know people who are dealing with the recent loss of their mother and this is the first mother's day without their mom.  It is not a happy day for them.  And this is not something they want to hear especially from strangers.  I also know a woman a couple years ago who lost her only child a few weeks before Mother's Day.  So when cashiers said "Happy Mother's Day" to her it really hurt her.  I saw her in a store buying the fake flowers to make an arrangement for her daughter's grave.  She was crying in the aisle as she picked out flowers to make a bouquet.  Or you have women that cannot have children and again something that makes them feel bad.  Just my opinion.  But when I was working customer service I did not say Happy Mother's Day to women or Happy Father's Day to men when I did not know them or their situations.

My mom died in 1992.Theres NOT a day goes by i dont think of her.Ive enjoyed looking at pics and movies of her while she was alive.It pays no mind to walk up to her grave because shes watching over me.The dead are conscience of nothing!The pictures and memories are all we have now till Jesus and his father empty the graves in the resurrection!Hopefully we will see each other again in a world governed by Jesus and his father.
