Music ?
« on: April 27, 2016, 06:45:40 am »
My brother gave me a Bose radio. I have it on my nightstand and listen every night and it helps me to drift off to sleep. Does music have that affect on you?

Depends on what it is. I haven't fallen asleep to music since I was a teenager. I have better luck with the TV. It helps me unwind to watch it for 30 to 60 minutes before I'm ready to try and sleep. What is it you've been listening to?  :)

No laughing here! I never could get into country music, but I know it's popular with many others.  :)

Enjoy your radio!  I fall asleep easiest if there is silence!  Oh, some ambient noise like crickets or birds is fine.

Thank you, I love to hear birds during the day, but they drive me nuts at night lol

I love music....in order for me to fall asleep listening to music I need to listen to classical or instrumental music.  Something that's nice and soothing.   :)

Sort of but not really. I usually listen to internet radio these days especially 80s music. Some of the radio stations are changing their format too much which gets less interesting.

I love music but prefer TV to fall sleep, I actually turned off, but my daughters like to sleep with the darn thing on all night long.  If we turned off in the middle of the night they actually wake up and turned back on again.  But I do not lots of people that sleeps with music.  Enjoy yours

Being a musician, I hear music in my head all the time! Having attended 2 colleges for musical training, I constantly analyze music because it is now second nature for me to do so. So, no, music does not help me fall asleep! It keeps me awake! I'm always humming or singing when not playing my flute or piano!
