dedication

I have seen one spouse dedicate themselves to the other often in my life.
Recently, a friend of mine lost her husband.
She had decisions to make as things changed.
At one time, she wanted to move somewhere and gave up that choice for another to be closer to where her husband's nursing home was.
Now that he has passed away, she is on her own.
Her mind, full of concerns for her husband, can be at peace.

I find that working in tandem and developing congruent goals makes dedication so much easier.  My wife, and I , have only been married twenty two years but have stuck to our plans and adjusted when needed or wanted. She works for an international company that has offices in every country in the world. We need to continue working till we die to pay for our kids but we are choosing to do it for six months at a time at as many of her company's locations as possible. I am able to work anywhere as long as I have my laptop and internet access. If one of us passes it is very unlikely that we will rush into another marriage. I had an uncle that got married within six months of his spouse dying and I thought that it was so disrespectful.
