Life is good
« on: August 26, 2009, 07:30:46 pm »
I haven't been on in a couple of days. Even though I still haven't found steady work, life has actually been good. I love my kids, and my wife (LOL). ::) But anyways, I have come to realize that the more money you make, then it's true, the more problems you have. I've been broke, but I also have been richely rewarded w/ spending time w/ my family. I guess I'm making up for lost time when I did have a job. I've also figured out that the economy isn't gonna get any better anytime soon. So in order for us to survive, we all must come together and help each other out. Show the world the true meaning of " It's Great to be an American- Home of the Brave and Land of the Free!" :icon_rr: I live in FLORIDA and I think that FLORIDA has endured it's troubling times. All though we are a common wealth state, FLORIDA is supposed to be the state of opportunity. Vero Beach is ranked 4th in the nation of millionaires and I'm not one of them. So what, LIFE IS GOOD!

I can definately understand where you are coming from there i was working 60 hours a week and got laid off, then had a severe injury that required surgery, and i just now got a part-time job working 20 hours or less a week because thats all I could find although i really enjoy my new job and i really enjoy the time that I have with my family.  The economy is definately not getting any better you kinda have to take what you can get and sometimes what you end up getting is what you need, i know thats the way that I feel its like they say "god works in mysterious ways".  All I can say to those in similar situations is hang in there i know its hard to do, it was for me, but sometimes you just have to plug along and you will find what you are looking for.

Life IS Good.  I saw an elderly lady who weighed no more than 80lbs walking and carrying her groceries to her house in 103 temp.  I was in my air conditioned car and said "Thank God I'm not in such a bad situation.  So, I stopped and gave her a ride to her house."
