I don't truly suppress my feelings, but I have learned to express them in a calm way.  I try not to throw temper tantrums or burst into hysterical tears, even though I may want to.

I supress my feelings a whole lot, first the death of my boys an then  the way my sister treats me and tells tall tales about me to make herself look good and also i just do not like to argue with any one. I prefer to be left alone.

Yes, I can....in situations. It's not that you don't FEEL....it's just that you CHOOSE not to let that show! Get it?

I am quite good at suppressing my feelings but will vent in a sarcastic manner occasionally. Most people describe as one of the most self-less and nice people that they have met. I don't think that they understand my sarcasm and tend to laugh it off. I am known for positivity which, during my day job, puts me in a group of about one percent of the work force dynamic. I have been told that I am too nice which could keep me from moving up in the company.  I find this to be humorous because I have no interest in going into upper management and have voiced this to my supervisors consistently. management would have me taking over a group of poorly chosen employees and it generally takes about eighteen months to get rid of an entire group and replace them with people who do not need to be baby sat.

No, I don't suppress my feelings. When I'm down everyone knows...If the situation is too personal to talk to someone, I usually talk/rant to myself in private (That helps for me). If it's something mundane, I will complain and get extra dramatic (on purpose) which tends to entertain my friends and family. Funny enough, it makes me feel better and they get a good laugh.
