It's spaghetti sauce, not gravy. In whose alternate universe could it be called gravy?  ::)

Definition of gravy: the fat and juices exuding from meat during cooking.

Definition of sauce: thick liquid served with food, usually savory dishes, to add moistness and flavor.

I'm imagining your guests coming over for spaghetti and you asking, "How do you like the gravy?"
???

It's GRAVY, baby!!!  As I'm of Italian descent, yes, we call it GRAVY.  "Gravy" is thicker than "sauce."

SAUCE!  Gravy is the stuff you make by mixing flour and meat grease.
