I got like 4/5th of the way through this ad watching survey and it just kicked me out to the "Did not qualify" screen.
Not cool.

This is why I do not put any effort into completing the surveys. I only look forward to receiving the 0.01 cent disqualification bonus.

Same thing happened to me.    Other members seemed to have more luck.   Later on or the next day, I got a similar one. I was afraid to try it but this one was a genuine survey about advertising and I did complete and get credit.

Surveys are a hit or miss. You never know what the outcome will be.

Something similar just happened to me.  It was a survey on travel.  The last time I noticed, it said I was 27% complete.  I had already spent 15- 20 minutes (I'm slow) and had no idea I was about to be disqualified.  Surprise!!!

You just never know when you may get the dreaded DQ message!  Could be in the beginning, in the middle and sometimes, much to my frustration, it comes at the end.  Just when you think you are done.  Oh, well, guess the only alternative is to never do surveys.

I've been doing survey companies for a long time (5+ years), and one thing I do is note who the survey providers are as I enter the survey. I make notes of the ones that steadily approve, and others that do not. I don't think I'm allowed to post specifics here in the forum, but the suggestion is offered to you going forward. Good Luck.

Unfortunately, that can happen. I still like attempting surveys (most of the time) because there are some that I have more success with. When I have success with something, I tend to keep going with it.

I've noticed something about certain companies... I won't name them, as that is "not fair" to judge them. Some of them seem to enjoy collecting a certain amount of info and then claiming you went too fast. Of course I can go fast. I have the same basic information, so I can click male-next, job-next, income-next and get through blah blah blah in about 10 seconds. Apparently I am supposed to take my time to decide if my gender has changed? hah

And lately you can see a lot of the surveys being in the red zone. One company has decided to tell me they have all the information they need, when in fact, they just are tired of me getting rewarded and I ALWAYS provide the same information to them. I don't switch around my demographics trying to score surveys. In fact, that will slow you down because you will be inconsistent and screw up.

I hate being punished for knowing the process of filling in my demographics at a super fast pace. I also hate that I can read and write fast. Apparently being a fast reader is also a disqualification, so I have to sit there and count another 30 seconds before I hit next, when in fact I am doing everything honestly and half the time, read the same thing on the last 5 pages, so I already know whether a certain product is important, not important, etc.

They want me to make it 75% of the way and then throw up a random error. I've been using surveypolice.com and reading reviews about which companies are currently acting "unprofessionally."

Being fast and accurate is a punishment sometimes.

I digress.

I don't know what to think. Maybe I should break my hand so I can't click fast...? Everyone try surveypolice.com, they are constantly scanning the sites and force them to check their habits or people will ditch them and go to other places leaving them to decide if they want to keep their company going.... I feel your pain.

danmo783, when I was in school I was always the last person to finish the test.  I feel like I am on the other end of your spectrum.  I always take way too long to finish a survey, even that initial part. I'm afraid they will throw in something different on that initial part to see if I'm paying attention, so I read every word! My slowness doesn't seem to help me any on getting qualified, but of course, that's not all they take into consideration!

Oh yes that time limit can really get you.  I don't think I've ever been accused by a survey company of going too fast, but in order to stop this from happening I have a suggestion for those that are trying to keep a -slower- survey pace.  Count 3-5 seconds before submitting each page.  Those few seconds each time make it look like you are taking more time even -if- you fill out the page quickly.
