When was the last time you called the police?

Hmmm I am not sure. I think years ago when I was in a car accident.

Last fall when a new owner of a car repair shop was blasting his music out of his car outside while he was working inside for over 2 hours.  I didn't ask for a free concert, and it took the cop almost an hour to come and naturally 5 minutes before he arrived the music stopped.  I recorded it on my cell phone but he didn't see any need for it, but I do in case I need it in court.  He gave them a warning and told them next time they will be fined.  So far it has been basically calm but summer is right around the corner and unfortunately so is he

I should have called the police last night as my crazy x girlfriend came to my house banged on the door and wouldn't leave then forced her way into my house after I told her to leave.

Several months ago I thought I heard gunshots from the building across the parking lot. Scary place, and everything happens there.

Never found out if something was going on with that.

I've never called the police. I guess I've been lucky.

I called them about four years ago when their was a car parked  half way across the road and did not move for half an hour.   the gentle man had gone to sleep driving and they had an ambulance come and get him.

I never called the police but my family did last year in august.

I last called the police somewhere in the span of December 2010 - February 2011 when someone threw an ice/snowball through my front room window.  I recognized and remotely knew the officer, Andy, who responded and surveyed the damage to my window.  They never found the perp, nor did I expect them to. 


Back in 2004, Andy was one of three tenants (all young police officers from different local jurisdictions) who rented an apartment from my boss.  I was the "lucky" one who had to carry out their eviction when one of them skipped out on the other two and they could no longer afford the rent!  Andy was pretty pissed about it, but thankfully he didn't take it out on me.


A few years after their eviction we hired a new guy in our office, Kevin, who turned out to be Andy's best friend from high school.  Kevin only worked here for a few years before moving on to another job in the "big city".  When Kevin got married in March of 2011, I heard that Andy was his best man.  While Kevin was on his honeymoon in Europe, Andy was shot and killed when he pulled over a local man riding his bicycle in the middle of the night without any headlights.

Not sure if this counts, but they redirected me to the fire department.

Last time I called the police was due to a faulty fire alarm... Due to the raining, the water somehow got into the fire alarm and it kept ringing at 3 pm... No one in my apartment cared, until I called

Another instance last year was that me and my neighbors heard sounds (coming from the roof) at midnight... We called the police to check the area, but they didn't find anything... Later on we found out it was from the stray cats moving through the roofs (since we heard cat fights on top of the roofs)

last summer,,,,  and of the the idiot kids down the street keep riding their bikes through my yard and garden this year like last year I will be calling the cops on them again this year.  They will not stop going through my yard and I have asked them nicely to stop,,,,  but they won't so i have a feeling jit is going to be a long summer
