I personally prefer to be a Big Fish in a little pond, (i.e. live in a small town where everyone knows your name.)

i guess it would depend on how socially adaptable
you are, but for me personally, i definitely prefer to be
the little fish in a big pond. i hate having to see familiar
faces everywhere i go   because there's always that
awkward 'do i wave, do i smile? they're not waving or
smiling so i guess we'll just act like we don't know eachother'
THING.

..ick. since i've moved from home, i've grown to like
strangers

I like to be a "small fish in a big pond" too. Things are just easier for me this way. It's just me, ya know?
Sometimes I like to get out, "in a smaller pond", but I my natural self am pretty independent..

But that's just me.
