Do you eat pears?

I hate pears.  I cannot get over the texture of the meat of pears.  It has a gritty texture to me.

I eat pears all the time in recent months.
I have had them served warm.
They taste all right either warm or cold.
I have had 2 kinds of pears.
one has green skin
the other has brown skin.

I haven't had a pear in a long time but I'm buying pear juice Friday because I read it was a natural laxative since it's a good source of fiber.

Yes, I generally eat them fresh especially like when they have a sweet taste. I think they are a fruit I am going to eat more of this summer!!!
