John Kasich is the only adult in the entire reace
« on: March 05, 2016, 03:43:34 pm »
I've always like the guy because he's a straight-shooter and actually worked with Ronald Reagan on foreign policy, economic growth, and he served on a committee for 30 years doing it; all before he became Governor of Ohio.

I noticed in the last GOP debate that he was the only "adult" on stage and he has yet to flip-flop at all. Rubio, Cruz, and Trump are a bunch of arguing schoolkids fighting over toys.

I have to give the guy respect for being a class act. He refuses to join in the "take down Trump" fiasco and has actual explanations and 30+ years experience.

I'll never vote for Hillary (the Democrat version of Trump in my opinion), and while Bernie has his heart in the right place, his socialist math is pretty pathetic. I'm so disillusioned with everything right now.

Kasich seems to be a good candidate but I don't really know enough about him. I guess right now I'd vote for Cruz as Rush Limbaugh says he's the closest Reagan type candidate and I feel Cruz will be a good leader and not blow his stack with the slightest sign of adversity (like Trump would). I agree with Trump on some issues but I heard recently that his healthcare plan would be even more costly than Obamacare!? How that could be possible I don't know but it's a red flag to me. Also, Trump took the side of the government on the Apple phone dispute. He's a control freak and there are way too many of those in Washington as it is! I wish Ben Carson had been successful, I think he was the best choice. Carson is intelligent, calm cool and collected, loves America and didn't scare me on any issue. Hopefully he'll run again in the future. Bernie and Hillary? forget it.

I do not know anything about John Kasich, other than his name. However, based on the political circus that we have had the endure these past couple of weeks (months, years, *bleep* centuries), I would vote for him (or Hilary Clinton) in a heartbeat. There is absolutely no one else on the Republican side of the house that resonates with me.

While I would never vote for a Republican (not saying much since I really don't think voting does much at all anyways) Kasich does seem to be the only candidate that is not a complete doofus. He is respectable during debates and seems to be far more responsible.

Yes, he definitely cannot win, but I respect his ability to keep his mouth shut when Trump or Rubio starts crying.

I agree about Kasich. He was my first choice. I read what he has done and what his plans would be to straighten out this mess in D.C., but he doesn't have a chance because the media is so wrapped up in Trump.

How do you feel now about Carson since he dropped out and has endorsed the dictator?  I was totally shocked. It was kind of funny that Trump visits Carson one day and a couple days later, he drops out, then a week (or thereabouts) he endorses Trump. Something's fishy there.

The same thing happened with Christie.  I think Trump could be "bribing" them with jobs in "his" administration.

Hello to everyone out there in Fusion cash World:

As I said in my previous post, I am not too political savvy.   at this point, I do not know who John Kasich is or exactly what he stands for except that as one member pointed out he said he wants to straighten up the mess in Washington DC.

My questions for Mr. Kasich would be as follows:

1.  Name some of the messes in Washington DC that you would want to fix up for the Americans people

2.  Would this include protecting Social security benefits for Americans?

3.  Would this also include paying off the billions of debt that America owes to foreign countries (as far as I know) that includes China?

4.   Would you work with 'American businesses and protect the jobs that belong to Americans by not shipping them out to different countries such as happened to my sister in law Belinda who had worked for Beckman for fifteen years as a machine operator and then the company sold out to Mexico and for a short time Belinda was left without a job.
These are some of the questions that I would ask this politician!

I think he will be the only Republican running that will look back and feel he took the high road during this process.

Hello Sfreeman8,

I was caught off guard by Carson and Christie endorsing Trump for sure! I don't know, perhaps they feel that Trump is the Republican's best chance at beating Hillary. Perhaps they're hoping that should Trump get the nomination, that he will choose one of them to be his VP? Could be that Trump is bribing them and or telling them what he thinks they want to hear, The Donald knows how to do that very well! Politics makes strange bed fellows.

I like Kasich, but I think he should have been out of the race by now. I agree that he seems quite the gentleman, but he's probably wrecking Cruz' chance to catch up with Trump, and maybe keeping Trump from getting all the delegates he needs as well.

And I don't think Kasich is giving us the most accurate opinion of his record in Ohio. It's probably not as rosy a picture as he paints it.

This has to be the world's dumbest election cycle ever!   :confused1: :bad:
