Work space at your job
« on: February 25, 2016, 02:34:05 pm »
Is your work space organized or unorganized at work? I keep mine organized because I work in a call center and I need to have my documents on hand.

I wish I could say my work space is mine...but I have to share sometimes.  I'm a cake decorator and my area is very organized.  Because I work for a grocery store there are times I get to work and my area is covered with projects that have tricked from the back up to the front.  Sometimes I think it's a subtle hint for me to help the team.

It's organized, I can't stand to try to do anything in a mess.  Co-workers have said I'm "ocd" about my work space--I don't care.  I can't do a good job, can't focus if it looks like a tornado just occurred.

I work some place different every night, so I leave it it the way the day person has it.

My space is pretty organized, and I do not like a cluttered work space.

One part of the space is and one part of the space is not.

I am very organized.  Sometimes to the point I make myself laugh.  But I can always put my fingers on anything I need.   >

I can say mine is as good as it gets seen that it requires a lot of flexibility and sudden changes.

I have my own office.  But not organize. :)  It not mine exactly, but I put my stuff where I can count on.

I have an oversized cubicle during the day and work out of my house at night and on the weekends. The walls on my cubicle have seven different reference documents, attached by a thumb tack, representing the seven different projects I currently over see (as I have for the last two years). I may use one every three or four days. I also have a reference guide in one of my drawers. The only thing on my desk during the day is my brief case, computer and two screens. At night I run two lap tops with an extra screen attached to each. I get all of my reference documentation on line. I got rid of all the clutter in my study last June but still have three boxes that I need to throw in the crawl space but have been too busy to do that. I would say that I am ultra organized.
