I jsut lost 30 lbs since Oct by counting carbs.

Walking is a great way to help you lose weight, if you can't make it to a gym. your portion sizes matter, more fruits and veggies with every meal. No fried foods. Try to bake everything and watch out for sodium

Use more cinnamon than sugar or honey. Keep up with the walking and sit-ups of some-sort. Back step in thinking of what you ate in the past months you might feel better. Count calories, and stay in the 2,000 range. Learn the foods that can bloat you, maybe you are sensitive to some foods you are not aware of. I am on a diet, got depressed and gain about 100 pounds, I go go through times where you just can't lose anymore, and I got about 40 more pounds to go. RUN Good luck.

Give up the junk food, I did and it was the best decision ever made.  My family and I stopped drinking sodas, eating all types of junk like chips, reduce sugar consumption, fried food and started cooking more healthy meals, not really giving up foods like rice, potatoes, etc. just eating healthier in general and all of us lost a few pounds and feel better for it.  Now we cannot even drink juice since they are too sweet and it tastes horrible since we gave up the sugar.

Drink nothing but water. I used to drink so much soda and tea and a little over a year ago I switched to basically nothing but water and altogether lost around 25 pounds over a few short months.

Water and lots of it.  It helps flush out your system so your skin will benefit too.

Avoiding foods unless you have a medical condition is a recipe for disaster. Our minds are trained to recognize when we feel "deprived" of something, even if we aren't. Try to eat healthy (most of the time), do a little exercise (but I agree, the food is the most important), and remember EVERYTHING IN MODERATION.

Losing weight is a lifestyle change, especially if you actually want to keep the weight off permanently.

I've started drinking two cups of water before my main meals and one cup of water before snacks. You may gain some water weight before you lose anything but the water def helps me feel full before I even start eating. Also keep the carbs to a min. I fill up half my plate with veggies and greens and only eat meat smaller than the size of my palm. (Fingers not included). And because the bloating from all the retained water will feel uncomfortable, moving around and getting some exercise will help with that. Good luck!!

I would have to agree with the people that say to limit your carbs. I limited my carbs and my sugar intake and I lost weight just doing those two things alone. So you may want to look at what you're eating and see if you can cut down on the bad stuff - namely sugar and carbs.

'google' the negative calorie foods and use them to add to meals or for snacks, they are filling & healthy!!
