SO i signed up and confirmed my email for the $5 sign on bonus and it has not been credited to my account whatsoever. However when confirming my telephone number for 1 cent , it automatically credited to my account

 You have to complete an offer to get the $5 sign-up bonus.  I know it sounds misleading, when you first sign up.    Click on earn cash and on the far right there is, "Want Your $5 sign up bonus"!
