Should he retire?

What's his legacy? What will you remember about him?

I think he needs to retire, but only he can made that decision.  Good luck to him!

Based upon how he played through the season and in the game last night, he really appears to have nothing left in the tank.  If not for Denver's defense bailing him out, he would have lost his third superbowl.  But because you win and lose as a team, he will go down in history as the winning QB for superbowl 50.

His legacy will be fine, especially with all of the records he now holds (with the win last night pushing him to 200 victories -- one more than second place Brett Favre).

He should DEFINITELY retire on top and as a winner -- because he is only a shell of his former self and his chances of repeating are quite slim.

I agree... He should seriously consider retiring while coming off of the SB win. People will have better memories now than if he were to continue playing but is relegated to being a high-dollar benchwarmer.

Yep-time to retire. He doesn't need the money and doesn't have enough game left in him to be an force as a quarterback. He has matched his little brother's super bowl ring count.  To win one Super bowl is fantastic. To be part of a team that won the super bowl is outstanding. I give him little to no credit for the Bronco's win. The defense won the game by shutting Cam Newton down. Far better quarterbacks are without a ring like Dan Marino or Fran Tarkenton. All night long the camera panned to Payton but neglected to show poor Ostweiler who won several games this season while Manning nursed himself back to being healthy. I don't know that Elway would sign Manning up for another year. Manning was ready to retire last year after the epic bowl failure. Why does this have to be filled with so much drama?

I'm glad to see the old boy get it done one last time. I think he should play if he still wants to. I'm not looking forward to people hounding him to retire like they did with Brett Farve. If he wants to play (and a team wants him) let him play!

Google JediJohnnie and May the Force be with you!

Even Manning isnt that stupid......its the media!!The question isnt worth asking. Its obvious we all know, including Manning he cant be effective anymore.Stop asking the question.

He is gone.He had a great career and the Denver D helped him go out a winner!

I think he may retire. Going out on a super bowl win is pretty great. And he's had a good career. I know he has had some trouble with injuries and I don't think his body can take much more.

I think it is time for him to retire so that his legacy is that of a winner. He didn't look to good this year so I would hate for him to come back and really stink up the joint. I don't think Elway will let him come back as a Bronco.

I think its time Manning retired. he has gotten several rings. His injuries have done alot to him and Maybe retiring and working for the broncos like Elway did would be best for him.
